a movie to ponder - a lesson on ethnocentrism

Professor Smith spoke today about ethnocentrism and my mind went back to going to the theatre a couple of weeks ago and seeing Gran Torino with Clint Eastwood. This is by far the best Eastwood movie I have ever seen. What are other people's take?
